I just wanted a simple way to track my discretionary spending. Just like a balance sheet or a checkbook. All the other apps have extra features that confuse me.
I used to enter all transactions each week into a spreadsheet. That worked ok except that my records were always a week behind my spending.
I tried putting a spreadsheet on my iPod with an expensive spreadsheet app, but it takes too long to open and make entries.
This is fast and simple. Exactly what I wanted.
